The Tap House @ Spilsbury & Jones is located in the same building as our brewery where all our beer is brewed. The building know as ‘The Dudleys’ is a several 100 year old red brick building once used by the hop pickers to sleep, cook and socialise in during the 19th and early 20th century. Although the brewery has been in the building since 2017, in 2020 the rest of the building was restored and the Tap House was born.
The Tap House champions our very own range of beers including our best selling lager, Tom Jones. All the hops in our beers are grown on the farm and travel only a few 100m to make it from hop yard to pint. Even though we are passionate beer drinkers we appriciate it is not for everyone and so we do also have a fully stocked bar offering spirits, wines and soft drinks.
We feel aside from our beers our other great acheivment is the atmosphere created at the Tap House. A large part of this is our live music. during our opening months we have live music every Saturday evening hosting a large array of local musicians ranging from bands to solo artists. We also have a larger event once a month when we will have more music on Fridays and Sundays too. Check out our whats on below for more information.
We also have an outside kitchen here, built using an old grain silo from the farm. We produce a range of street foods with an ever evolving menu however, we are best known for our pizzas. all our food in completely home made and our pizzas flavours are designed to pair with our beers. Everything is cooked using woodfired ovens burning apple wood from our orchards prunings. For serving times see our opening hours below. For our bigger events throughout the year we also have guest street food vendors come in so check out our Facebook or Instagram for who will be visiting us.
